This week, our top spellers in Year 3 - 6 were invited to participate in the school round of the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee. Students were required to spell 30 words with a time limit of 25 seconds for each word.

Students’ results are ranked according to the accuracy of their spelling and the time taken to spell each word. This first round of the competition closes on 22 August, when we will find out if anyone from Mowbray Heights Primary School has made it into the State final.

All students involved demonstrated courage and persevered with some very challenging words. They did their very best and their efforts were exceptional!
